Centered around the nature of collaboration between dancers and artists, each work featured in Collabfest was created with the sharing of ideas, discussion, and experimentation among many artists. Inclined will be presenting excerpts from 2015’s Somnipath, which explores the various sciences and abnormalities of sleep.

This class series is also a chance to work with IDP’s current company members and network with fellow dancers, and an opportunity to be considered for future projects. Our goal is a budget-friendly class, low-key environment, and a challenging afternoon of dance. Workshop fee: $10 Pre-register and pay your fee online

Turf explores the perceptions of environment, the degeneration of territories, the transition of locations, our comfort within landscape, and the harsh reality of dealing with change, both socially and geographically. Performed by Inclined’s all-female troupe, the work invites the audience to change their point of view and experience the work in an immersive stage setting. Surrounded by the dancers, the audience is brought into the work’s rotating terrain and evolving movement – bringing the observers up close and personal to the performers and allowing the audience to become an integral part of the work. Turf showcases Inclined’s signature dynamic, technical, and athletic movement style along with the company’s continued explorations of human nature and our relationship to the world around us. So step out of your comfort zone. Be brave. Challenge the way things are seen and perceived. Change is hard in the beginning and messy in the middle, but perhaps will be something beautiful in the end. Choreography by Kristen Klein with additional material by the dancers. Performed by Amy Campbell, Christina Chelette, Leighann Curd, Maria Gardner, Shannon McGee, and Elisabeth Wolf Tickets: $16 online/$20 at door (cash only!)
